Jeremy - United States Marine Corps

Posted by Team FOV on

Jeremy is one of FOV's most skilled craftsman, having joined the team shortly after the company's launch.  He grew up moving all over the world in a military family and felt his own calling to serve.  He entered the United States Marine Corps and became a K9 Handler as it "provided an opportunity to push myself.  Being a K9 (Bomb Dog) Handler as the best thing to happen for me.  It was challenging and put me with my unit at the tip of the spear."

During his time in the USMC, Jeremy served all over the world as a part of a Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) including Okinawa, Philippines, Thailand and Australia.  His biggest challenges came during a long combat deployment to Iraq as he and his K9 were tasked with locating Improvised explosive devices (IEDs), in and around Fallujah.  During this deployment, Jeremy and his K9 executed 440 missions.

As FOV's most experienced craftsman, Jeremy's perspective on being part of our company is important.  In Jeremy's words, "FOV gives me a mission again.  I get to create something, everyday, that means something."
