The Mission
Travis Manion Foundation's mission is to unite and strengthen communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them. They develop programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen, and then inspire them to pass on their values to the next generation and the community at large. The inspiration for the foundation comes from its namesake, 1st Lt. Travis Manion, USMC, who made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of his patrol in 2007. As a Valor Open Foursome Sponsor, your group will enjoy a full day golf experience at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Haymarket, Virginia. Your group will have full access to the 65,000 square foot clubhouse, driving range, practice greens, and pro shop. All food and beverage, to include pre-round breakfast and mid-round lunch, are included in your sponsorship. Also included is participation in the post-tournament reception and awards ceremony. NOTE ON ATTIRE: Hats should not be worn in the clubhouse. Shirts shall be tucked in at all times. Bermuda length shorts are permitted, however, cargo shorts or cut-off shorts are not. Other items considered to be inappropriate at the club are: jeans, t-shirts, flip-flops or jogging attire. Also, slacks are required when wearing a sport coat for the gentlemen.
