He says "the best part about serving was developing as a person and being around a great group of people." He continues to serve today by sharing his veteran experience and our American values with the world. Why does he spend his day crafting veteran made products with Team FOV? He says "FOV has given me that brotherhood feeling again. The knowledge of everyone in the room has helped my professional as well as personal development."
While on active duty, Justin served as a 92Y Supply Specialist. He was assigned to Fort Benning in garrison and is a veteran of Afghanistan where he served for a year long deployment. Justin, we are grateful to have you on our team!

He often talks about the many benefits he gained from serving in uniform, especially forcing himself outside his comfort zone and becoming a stronger person. In the Navy, he served as a master at arms on a handful of ships as well as foreign shores.
Joe is our Director of Operations. His high energy leadership style and incredible empathy for the veteran journey lifts the entire room. He is also committed to remembering the sacrifices of others. With team FOV, he led the 9/11 Promise Run, where he completed the 240 miles journey from the Pentagon to Ground Zero in New York City.
When asked what his favorite thing about Flags of Valor:
"I love getting my hands dirty. Working every day...being put to use serving some of the best men I've ever gotten to work with, all motivated...driven. The camaraderie."
]]>Jeremy is one of FOV's most skilled craftsman, having joined the team shortly after the company's launch. He grew up moving all over the world in a military family and felt his own calling to serve. He entered the United States Marine Corps and became a K9 Handler as it "provided an opportunity to push myself. Being a K9 (Bomb Dog) Handler as the best thing to happen for me. It was challenging and put me with my unit at the tip of the spear."
During his time in the USMC, Jeremy served all over the world as a part of a Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) including Okinawa, Philippines, Thailand and Australia. His biggest challenges came during a long combat deployment to Iraq as he and his K9 were tasked with locating Improvised explosive devices (IEDs), in and around Fallujah. During this deployment, Jeremy and his K9 executed 440 missions.
